Minety Movie Time

What is Minety Movie Time?

The idea of having a rural cinema in Minety takes a major step forward with Minety Movietime which plans several screenings in Minety village hall.

This is very much a starter initiative in the belief that the local families will like the idea sufficiently well to support future screenings and that they are able to contribute a little practical assistance with establishing a cinema club in the village as a means for promoting further Event nights in the year.

The idea of having hosting a rural cinema is certainly not new - towns and villages in the immediate vicinity are already well established, and for sure these days there are many ways to view film favourites without leaving home or even having physical media like DVDs. By holding cinema events in a village location, not only are you getting an opportunity to see a movie you want with friends in a familiar social setting, but you are also directly supporting a local venue for the future.

However, even the best laid plans can change at short notice. Please check this site nearer the screening dates if you have internet access yourself or please contact someone you know who may have internet access if you do not.

Although it will be possible to purchase tickets on the night, to help with future financial viability of this "Minety start-up", I am also looking for suggestions to sell tickets in advance so please contact me if you can help. I look forward to seeing as many people as possible for these screenings and I hope it becomes a more permanent feature of the local entertainment scene. Arthur
