Deleting a post
You can delete any post you have made to minety.net, whether news, comment, event, photo or audio file. Please note that you cannot delete a post someone else has made; if your organisation pages are being "spammed" by another villager, please let us know - we can remove posts and ban a user from posting to your organisation.
To delete a post, first make sure you have signed in and registered to post for the organisation.
Deleting a news or news comment post
Go to the organisation pages and click on the News tab. Find your news post or comment and place your mouse over the item. You will see a new link labelled "Remove" will appear to the right of the item. Click on this link and the news item or comment will be removed.
Deleting an event
Go to the organisation pages and click on the Events tab. Naviage to the event you have posted. You will see a link button at the top right of any event you have created, labelled "delete this event". click this link to remove the event. Please note where you have posted recurring events, you will need to delete each event individually. If there are too many, please let us know the details and we'll remove them for you.
Deleting an album, photo or audio file
Go to the organisation pages and click on the Photos and audio tab.
To delete an entire album: For any album you have created, you will see a link at the top of the album box, labelled "delete". Click this link to delete the album and all its contents. Please note: this is irreversible and will delete ALL the contents of the album - even if other users have posted to it. So please use this with care!
To delete a photo or audio file: Click on the album to see all photos or audio files in the album. For any photos or audio files you have posted, you will see a link labelled "delete" just above the thumbnail or audio player. Click this link to delete the photo or audio file. Please note: this cannot be undone, so please use with care.
